Summary:
The room attendant works under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper, Front Office Manager, and General Manager.
His or her responsibilities include following a daily schedule, performing proper cleaning of each guestroom, performing responsibilities outside the guestrooms, guest service & satisfaction, and individual effectiveness.
Primary
Responsibilities:
takes less than ten minutes to load carts with all necessary supplies, strips all beds in checked-out rooms, & drops all dirty linens to the laundry before any cleaning is done cleans the cart & ensures that all bottles are correctly labeled; maintains a pace to ensure 30 minute full clean and 15-minute stayover cleans are completed.
makes beds properly vacuums & sweeps carpets & floors in rooms and hallways mops floors in all guest rooms dusts, brushes, polishes, & vacuums furniture dusts & cleans room decorations, appliances, & structural surfaces (e.
g.
, wall fixtures, windowsills, vents, etc.
) cleans showers, tubs, sinks, and bathroom items; removes used guest amenities & supplies inspects rooms for safety hazards & for the operating conditions of equipment checks for damaged linens - these should be sent down differently reports lost & found articles, maintenance problems, or special room problems to a supervisor or front desk clerk Clean storage rooms & stock carts daily records room status on work assignment sheets performs any other job-related duties assigned by a supervisor acknowledges every guest with eye contact, nod, & greeting refrains from eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum in the presence of guests grooms properly by displaying healthy personal hygiene & wearing proper uniform (no jean pants) with name tag JOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours a day Ability to read and write to an 8th grade level Job Types:

Are you available on weekends This position does start 8 or 9 am and goes untill job is complete normally 6 hours a day.
