manufacturer of barges that transport dry and liquid cargoes on inland waterways.
Arcosa Marine in Ashland City, TN manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum and other refined products, chemicals, fertilizer, ethanol, and other liquid cargoes.
Arcosa Marine also manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges that transport a variety of products, such as grain, coal, and aggregates.
As an HR Generalist for Arcosa Marine you will provide customer focused HR programs, services and consultation to enhance individual, team, management and business performance consistent with Arcosa values, philosophies, policies and programs.
Responsibilities:
Provide employees and managers a centralized Human Resources service center for first tier questions and inquires spanning from benefits programs and human resources policies.
Services include (but are not limited):
assistance in the escalation of employee grievance issues, policy/guideline interpretation, implementation of business events, workforce balancing, new employee orientation, etc.
Maintain employee records and ensures accuracy and data privacy/security processes are in place.
Complete HR projects within the plant and business unit.
Answer employee and management questions regarding policies, processes and other HR related matters following prescribed responses.
Implement and maintain departmental procedures, EEO/AA logs, reports and personnel records.
Enroll employees into programs, process new hire and benefit paperwork.
Provide general administrative support of daily departmental operations as assigned and training programs or sessions.
Assist management with the process and tracking of information in support of policies and benefits such as Leave of Absences, FMLA, Worker Compensation and other leave issues.
Assist management with maintenance of personnel files and records in compliance with retention requirement.
Assist management with employee retention initiatives and also other department related tasks May participate in confidential investigations of complex employee relations issues.
Could prepare and represent organization at unemployment hearings.
Requirements:
Three (3) years' experience working in an HR environment and/or Degree in Human Resources (or related field).
Must be able to maintain a high-level confidentiality; maintain accurate and complete records.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
Familiarity with UltiPro is preferred but not required.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and assess priorities required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills including strong proofreading skills and /or presentation.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
